Service Overview

Introducing the Cultural Portal Service.

The Culture Portal is a public sector comprehensive cultural information site providing an easy and convenient one-stop service for citizens to access various Korean culture and arts, cultural heritage, cultural industry, tourism, sports, and literary information produced by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism of the Republic of Korea and affiliated organizations and public institutions.

Its main menus include cultural experiences (performances, exhibitions, events, etc.), cultural empathy (cultural issues, cultural videos, etc.), cultural knowledge (encyclopedia of art knowledge, cultural artifacts, etc.), news (policies, employment information, etc.), and industrial utilization (traditional patterns).

The Culture Portal will continue to expand public cultural information as well as links to private cultural information, and provide high-quality cultural and artistic content to facilitate user-centered services.

Provides searchable maps for various cultural spaces and organizations, including performance halls, museums, libraries, and other cultural facilities, as well as various sports facilities and cultural and arts organizations.

Database of Traditional Patterns

Extract our own unique patterns from cultural assets, relics, etc. and digitizing them so that they can be used in industrial designs.

Allows you to search various cultural records, contents, and archives by subject and field.

Cultural Benefits

Seeks to revitalize cultural and artistic organizations by providing cultural benefits such as invitational events for members of the Culture Portal and ticket discounts for up to one accompanying person when purchasing tickets in advance for performances by public and national arts organizations

Cultural Promotion Registration

Allows public and private cultural facilities (organizations) to directly register and promote cultural information such as performances, exhibitions, events, and festivals on the cultural portal.

Cultural Videos

Provides cultural videos from the cultural PD creators on the Culture Portal, as well as news videos from cultural institutions such as UNESCO World Heritage sites, 100 Korean Culture Sites, and culture interviews.
